UrgentCrowd ("we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered urgent care triage application designed to help users make informed decisions about seeking medical care. UrgentCrowd is not a medical device, does not diagnose medical conditions, and does not provide medical advice. It is an informational wellness tool only.

3. How AI Processes Your Data

When you submit symptoms for triage, your symptom text and selected diagnostic zone are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for clinical reasoning analysis. Anthropic processes this data to generate your triage recommendation.

Anthropic's data policy: Per Anthropic's API Terms of Service, data submitted through the API is not used to train Anthropic's models and is not retained beyond the immediate request processing window. For details, see Anthropic's usage policy.

We do not send your Apple ID, account identifier, or any other personal identifiers to Anthropic. Only the symptom text and diagnostic context required for triage are transmitted.

No cross-app tracking. UrgentCrowd does not use any cross-app tracking technologies, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics SDKs that track you across other apps or websites.

8. HIPAA Disclaimer

UrgentCrowd is not a covered entity or business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The app does not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA. All symptom descriptions, triage results, and outcome data are treated as general wellness information provided voluntarily by the user for informational purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

UrgentCrowd is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, please contact us at the address below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of UrgentCrowd after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
